WHY: Chipseal
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, May 8, 2025, Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will have lane restrictions on Stofer Rd between Island Lake Rd and N. Territorial Rd in Lyndon Township for chipseal.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The chipseal is expected to take approximately one day to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
