WHERE: Bemis Rd between Hitchingham Rd and Stony Creek Rd in Ypsilanti & Augusta Townships
WHY: Permit work: utility work
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, DTE will begin utility work on Bemis Rd between Hitchingham Rd and Stony Creek Rd in Ypsilanti & Augusta Townships.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The utility work is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
