WHY: Forestry work
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be performing forestry work on Lima Center Rd between Dexter-Chelsea Rd and Island Lake Rd in Dexter and Lima Townships
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately seven days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
