WHY: Permit work
BACKGROUND: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended intermittent lane restrictions on Liberty Rd between Honey Run Dr and Stags Leap Ln in Scio Township for permit work by nine days.
The work will start on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, and now be completed in eleven days, subject to weather changes.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane closures. Motorists should consider alternative routes.
