WHERE: 5 Mile Rd between Curtis Rd and Currie Rd in Salem Township
WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close 5 Mile Rd between Curtis Rd and Currie Rd in Salem Township for drainage work.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
During these daytime activities through-traffic will be prohibited, and alternate routes are advised. Local access for properties within the road closure will be maintained, however, delays are possible.
