BACKGROUND: On Friday, October 2, 2026, a contractor working on behalf of Consumers Energy will be performing permit work on 7 Mile Rd between Buckland Rd and Rushton Rd in Northfield Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane closures. Flaggers will be present.
The permit work is expected to take approximately five weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
