On August 1, the contractor working on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) closed the intersection of Ann Arbor-Saline Rd and Ellsworth Rd in Lodi and Pittsfield Townships. The contractor removed the existing pavement and replaced the culvert under Ellsworth Rd. They also began excavating along Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. In the coming weeks, the contractor will continue excavating (“cutting the hill”) to reach the new road elevation. Once excavation is complete, the new aggregate road base will be placed.
The intersection of Ann Arbor- Saline Rd at Ellsworth Rd in Lodi and Pittsfield Townships remains closed. Please continue to follow the posted detour.
