BACKGROUND: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended intermittent lane restrictions by two weeks on Various subdivision roads between Cross St and Forest Ave, and Harris Rd and the City of Ypsilanti in Ypsilanti Township for targeted curb and sidewalk ramp replacement. The work started on Monday, April 27, 2026, and will now take approximately five weeks to complete, subject to weather changes.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane restrictions. Motorists should consider alternative routes.
