WHY: Forestry work
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be performing forestry work on Bethel Church Rd between Schneider Rd and Steinbach Rd in Freedom Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
