Various Culvert Weight Restrictions Across Washtenaw County

WHEN: Effective Friday, December 9, 2022

WHY: Structural deterioration

WHERE: Effective Friday, December 9, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has reduced the load rating on the following structures due to structural deterioration:

Austin Rd Culvert, over unnamed channel, between Grossman Rd and Wald Strasse St in Manchester Township reduced to 36/55/65.                  

Scully Rd Culvert, over Iron Creek, between Ely Rd and English Rd in Manchester Township reduced to 36/55/65.

Macon Rd Culvert, over unnamed creek, between Arkona Rd and Willow Rd in Saline Township reduced to 36/55/65.

Willis Rd Culvert, over Pittsfield Drain #5, at the intersection of Willis Rd and Bishop Rd in York Township reduced to 36/55/65.

Stony Creek Rd Culvert, over Sugar Creek, between Platt Rd and US-23 in York Township reduced to 36/55/65.

Petersburg Rd Culvert, over unnamed creek, between Redman Rd and Day Rd in York Township reduced to 36/55/65.

Hitchingham Rd Culvert, over unnamed creek, between Judd Rd and Willis Rd in Augusta Township reduced to 36/55/65.

A schedule for maintenance at these locations is undetermined.
