WHERE: Bemis Rd between Stony Creek Rd and Hitchingham Rd on the border of Augusta and Ypsilanti Townships
WHY: Road deterioration due to spring thaw
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) closed Bemis Rd between Stony Creek Rd and Hitchingham Rd on the border of Augusta and Ypsilanti Townships due to road deterioration from the spring thaw. The closure will be in place until further notice to allow the road to dry.
Access will be maintained for residents who live or work within the closure area, all other traffic must seek an alternate route.
