Miller Rd: Back at It

As of yesterday, our contractor has officially restarted the bridge work on Miller Rd in Scio Township. They are working to remove the temporary asphalt and grade the area in preparation for the concrete curb. They are hoping to pour the curb next week if the weather cooperates. Once the curb has been poured and has cured, they will pour the concrete pavement for the bridge.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, WCRC crews placed asphalt over the crossroad culverts that we replaced a few weeks ago. These areas will get another layer of asphalt during our paving project later this spring.

Our goal remains to reopen the road and bridge in June. Access for all local residents living within the Miller Rd work zone will be maintained at all times during the resurfacing work.
