WHERE: The intersection of Moon Road and Bemis Road in Pittsfield and York Townships
WHY: Completion of roundabout construction
BACKGROUND: On Friday, October 19, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) reopened three of the four legs of the new roundabout at the intersection of Moon Road and Bemis Road in Pittsfield and York Townships.
The Moon Road South Leg will remain closed to through-traffic while WCRC paves Moon Road from Bemis Road to Willis Road.
The Moon Road South leg is expected to open to all traffic by the end of October. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and other circumstances.
