WHERE: Schneider Road between Austin Road and Pleasant Lake Road in Bridgewater and Freedom Townships
WHY: Road improvement – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, May 31, 2018, at approximately 8 a.m., the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will CLOSE Schneider Road to through traffic between Austin Road and Pleasant Lake Road in Bridgewater and Freedom Townships for a chip seal project.
The project is expected to be completed and road reopened by Thursday, May 31, 2018, at approximately 3 p.m. However, please be advised that all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the road is back open, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
