WHY: Completion of Culvert Replacement at the JJ Knapp Drain
BACKGROUND: On Friday, November 10, the contractor for the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner re-opened Saline-Waterworks Road at the JJ Knapp Drain between Schneider Road and Steinbach Road in Freedom Township.
Work completed during the project included the culvert replacement and project restoration.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission offers our sincere thanks to the area residents, motorists, postal services, emergency services and school districts who displayed a great deal of patience during the closure of Saline-Waterworks Road.
