WHERE: McCollum Road between Braun Road and Burmeister Road in Bridgewater Township
WHY: Bridge repair project
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 4, 2018, a contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will CLOSE McCollum Road between Braun Road and Burmeister Road in Bridgewater Township to repair the bridge over the Saline River.
The road will be closed to all traffic during the bridge repair project. The WCRC expects the work to be completed by early July 2018. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
The posted DETOUR for this closure is Burmeister Road, Lima Center Road and Braun Road. Local traffic to and from adjacent properties located within the closed section of McCollum Road will be maintained, but no traffic will be able to cross the bridge itself.
