WHERE: Scio Church Road between Guenther Road and Steinbach Road in Lima Township
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, July 20, 2017, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) reopened Scio Church Road between Guenther Road and Steinbach Road in Lima Township. Steel plates were installed over a deteriorated culvert on Scio Church Road over the Haas Drain. The steel plates are a temporary measure until the WCRC is able to replace the culvert.
Due to this temporary repair, effective Monday, July 24, 2017, the WCRC will raise the weight restriction on the structure:
Scio Church Road over Haas Drain
Lima Township, Section 35 & Freedom Township, Section 2 – Between Guenther
Road and Steinbach Road
