On Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15, 2016, the Washtenaw County Road Commission and its contractor will impose lane restrictions on Huron St & Whittaker Rd between I-94 and the roundabout at Whittaker Rd & Stony Creek Rd in Ypsilanti Township for paving operations.
Huron Rd & Whittaker Rd will be under flag control during paving operations. While motorists can travel through the construction area, delays are likely, and the Washtenaw County Road Commission encourages motorists to take an alternate route. Please be advised that the nearby intersection of Whittaker Rd & Merritt Rd is closed for the construction of a roundabout.
These paving operations follow lane closures imposed earlier this week to repair a small sinkhole caused by a broken storm pipe. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, July 15, 2016. However, please be advised that dueto weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
