Despite the rainy conditions, we are making steady progress on Phase 2 of the Ann Arbor-Saline Road concrete repair project.
We know this closure is very inconvenient for travelers in the area. We are doing everything we can to complete it as soon as possible but we need your help. We have noticed multiple cases of unauthorized personnel moving road closure barricades and driving through the work zone during the day and night. This must not continue. Not only it is a major safety hazard to drivers (there are big holes where concrete has been removed) and the roadworkers, it slows the progress of the work, as the barricades have to be reset each time. We continue to actively monitor traffic signal timings in the area and will continue to make adjustments, as possible.
