WHY: Bridge preventative maintenance
BACKGROUND: During the week of July 10th, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin an epoxy overlay on the Dexter-Pinckney Rd Bridge, over Portage Lake canal, between McGregor Rd and Winston Dr in Dexter Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. Traffic will be maintained in both directions using a flagging operation. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use caution if you are traveling in the area.
The road improvements are expected to to take approximately one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
