Construction is going well on the 7 Mile Rd resurfacing project, located between Dixboro Rd and Pontiac Tr in Salem Township.
Over the last few days, our contractor was able to mill the butt joint. Next steps are paving the roadway and shoulders and performing necessary drainage work. Once this work is completed, our contractor will return to placing pavement markings.
We hope to complete paving the road by the end of this week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change based on weather conditions and contractor scheduling. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
