US-12 and M-17: Let’s Get This Paving Started!

By September 1, 2021Project Updates

Hard to believe it but September is already here! August was a very productive month on the US-12 and M-17 Improvement Project in Ypsilanti Township. Grading continues throughout the project. The contractor began prepping for sidewalks last week. They are hoping to start pouring sidewalk concrete, as well as paving the median crossovers and road shoulders with asphalt, later this week, if the weather cooperates.

Signal work is also progressing nicely, the foundations for mast poles will be installed this week and a new control cabinet was placed at the new Dorset Ave intersection last week.

We appreciate everyone’s patience with this project. Please slow down when going through any work zone. Click here for the detour map.
