WHERE: Delhi Road Bridge over the Huron River in Scio Township

WHY: Upgrades to pedestrian facilities

BACKGROUND: On Monday, January 11, 2021, contractors for the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission will begin a project to upgrade the pedestrian facilities near the Delhi Road Bridge over the Huron River in Scio Township.

The bridge will not be closed to traffic, but delays are possible due to shoulder work. WCRC encourages motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.

The improvements are expected to take approximately one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
