WHERE: Moon Rd between Saline-Milan Rd and Willis Rd in York Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, April 7, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Moon Rd between Saline-Milan Rd and Willis Rd in York Township for a road resurfacing project.
Please note, if the weather cooperates, WCRC crews may begin drainage work tomorrow, Tuesday, April 5 ahead of the closure. This work will be conducted under lane restrictions.
In total, the road improvements are expected to take approximately 5 weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
During construction, WCRC and the contractors will maintain access only for people who live, work, or own property within the project limits. All other traffic will be required to follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.
