The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will host a public information meeting on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 7 pm to inform the community about the upcoming Wiard Road bridge removal project.
Please note that this public meeting will be held in coordination with the New West Willow Neighborhood Association (NWWNA) at their March meeting. The meeting will include a brief presentation at 7 pm and will be followed by an open house format where individual citizens can ask questions about the upcoming project with WCRC staff.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission will remove the existing bridge on northbound Wiard Road located over Tyler Road and remove the section of Tyler Road between southbound Wiard Road and northbound Wiard Road. Access to Tyler Road across Wiard Road will be maintained using the boulevard crossovers on Wiard Road. Construction is scheduled to begin in April.
