Despite the rain, things are moving along nicely on the Sharon Valley Road Bridge project in Sharon Township. Our contractor poured the west bridge approach last week. Once that has cured, the bridge crew has pretty much wrapped up their portion of the project. Next, it is the road building crew’s turn. They will be onsite this week (if the weather cooperates) to start shaping the roadside slopes, placing the aggregate base and preparing for asphalt paving.
