WHERE: Zeeb Road between Ellsworth Road and just north of Waters Road in Lodi Township, Scio Church Road between Wagner Road and I-94, Upland Drive between Scio Church Road and Scio Ridge Road AND Scio Ridge Road between Upland Road and Liberty Road in Scio Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will temporarily close the following roads in Lodi and Scio Townships for a preventative maintenance project.
- Zeeb Road between Ellsworth Road and just north of Waters Road
- Scio Church Road between Wagner Road and I-94
- Upland Drive between Scio Church Road and Scio Ridge Road
- Scio Ridge Road between Upland Drive and Liberty Road in Scio Township
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the road is back open, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
WCRC will return to this area in a few weeks to apply a fog seal on top of the chip seal and place permanent pavement markings.
