Four-Year Road and Non-Motorized Path Millage
WHEN: Effective Monday, May 7, 2018
WHERE: Platt Road between Willis Road and Bemis Road in York Township and Platt Road between Merritt Road and Michigan Avenue (U.S.-12) in Pittsfield Township.
WHY: Completion of Road Improvement Projects
BACKGROUND: On Monday, May 7, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) re-opened both sections of Platt Road in York and Pittsfield Townships.
In the coming days, there will be intermittent lane closures on these sections of Platt Road so WCRC can complete road shoulder work.

WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, April 26, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be closing Platt Road, to all through traffic, between Merritt Road and US – 12 (Michigan Avenue) in Pittsfield Township to resurface the road. The closure is expected to last approximately ten days, weather dependent.
A detour will be posted for all through traffic. All property owners and residents internal to the project limits will be provided access to and from their property by the contractor.
