This summer, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be replacing the Sharon Valley Road Bridge over the River Raisin in Sharon Township.
Join WCRC Staff for a construction information meeting on Thursday, June 21 at 6 p.m. at the Sharon Township Hall, 18010 Pleasant Lake Road, Manchester, to learn more about the project.
During this project WCRC and its contractors will:
- Replace the existing 72-foot bridge over the River Raisin with an 85-foot bridge.
- Reconstruct the road approaches and install guardrail.
Project Timeline: WCRC’s contractor will begin on July 1, 2018 and will be completed by early October, depending on the weather.
Detours and Access: Sharon Valley Road will be closed throughout construction between Prospect Hill Rd and Lamb Rd, with traffic detoured to Sharon Hollow Road, Austin Road and Wolf Lake Road.
