Carpenter Road Environmental Assessment

Background

The study proposes improvements to approximately 1.44 miles of Carpenter Road from 3,200 feet south of Ellsworth Road to Textile Road. The project will widen Carpenter Road to the south, extending the existing five lane cross-section already present from Ellsworth Road southerly to the Textile Road intersection.

As required by Federal Regulations, an EA has been prepared to evaluate the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the project. The EA demonstrates that implementation of the proposed action will not have a significant impact on the quality of the human environment. Copies of the EA are available for public inspection at the following locations or available online (Environment Assessment and List of Figures).
