Road Closure: Willis Rd (Augusta Twp)

WHEN: Starting Monday, June 25, 2018

WHERE: Willis Road between Hitchingham Road and Tuttle Hill Road in Augusta Township

WHY: Road resurfacing

BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 25, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and its contractor will close Willis Road between Hitchingham Road and Tuttle Hill Road in Augusta Township to begin a pulverize and resurfacing project.

During the week of June 25, the road will be closed to through traffic during the day. Starting the week of July 2, the road will be closed to through traffic all day and night through July 10.

A detour will be posted. All property owners and residents internal to the project limits will be provided access to and from their property by the contractor.

The road improvements are expected to be completed by July 10. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
