WHERE: Mast Road between the City of Dexter limits and North Territorial Road in Webster Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Monday, August 27, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a chip seal project on Mast Road between the City of Dexter limits and North Territorial Road in Webster Township.
The road will be temporarily closed to through traffic, residents and property owners, who live or who within the project limits, will be provided access during the closure but delays should be expected.
The road is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Monday, August 27. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the project is completed, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
