Road Closure: Currie Road (Salem Twp)

WHERE: Currie Road between 6 Mile Road and 8 Mile Road in Salem Township

WHY: Road resurfacing

BACKGROUND: On Thursday, July 19, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and its contractor will close Currie Road between 6 Mile Road and 8 Mile Road in Salem Township to begin a road resurfacing project.

The road will be closed to all through-traffic during the project. A detour will be posted. All property owners and residents internal to the project limits will be provided access to and from their property by the contractor.

The road improvements are expected to be completed by July 28. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
