Road Closure – Bemis Rd

WHEN: Monday, October 16, 2017

WHERE: Bemis Road 1500 feet West of Tuttle Hill Road in Augusta and Ypsilanti Townships

WHY: Guardrail Replacement

BACKGROUND: On Thursday, October 16, 2017 at approximately 7:00 am, RMD Holdings, Ltd. will CLOSE Bemis Road on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) between Whittaker Road and Tuttle Hill Road in Augusta and Ypsilanti Townships for a guardrail replacement project.  The detour will utilize Whittaker Road, Martz Road and Tuttle Hill Road.  We anticipate this closure to remain in effect until Monday, October 23, 2017.  Please be advised that all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

During this project, through-traffic will be prohibited.  Local access to properties located within the closure will be maintained, however, delays are possible.  The WCRC thanks you in advance for your patience as we work to improve the transportation network.
