WHAT: Temporary Road Closure

WHERE: Arkona Road between Carpenter Road and Platt Road in York Township
WHY: Railroad Crossing Maintenance
BACKGROUND: On Monday morning, May 15, 2017, the Ann Arbor Railroad will impose a TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE on Arkona Road between Carpenter Road and Platt Road in York Township to perform maintenance on a railroad crossing. The road will be closed to all traffic.
The posted DETOUR for this temporary road closure is Platt Road to Willow Road to Carpenter Road.
This temporary road closure will remain in effect from the morning of May 15, 2017 to approximately the evening of May 19, 2017. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as the Ann Arbor Railroad performs this maintenance.
