On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, a Contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will CLOSE Ridge Road between Hack Road and Arkona Road in York Township in order to replace the bridge over Macon Creek.
The road will be closed to all traffic during the bridge replacement project. The WCRC expects the work to be complete in mid-October 2017. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
The posted DETOUR for this closure is Clinton-Macon Rd, Britton Hwy, Hack Rd, Goodrich Rd, Arkona Rd, Jordan Rd, Macon Rd, US-12, Saline-Milan Rd, Stony Creek Rd and Mooreville Rd. Local traffic to and from adjacent properties located within the closed section of Ridge Road will be maintained, but no traffic will be able to cross the bridge itself.
