The McGregor Road Bridge is located over the Portage Lake Outlet, between Dexter-Pinckney Road and the Livingston County line in Section 1 of Dexter Township. The bridge is being replaced due to structural deterioration. The new bridge will be wider and provide increased clearance for boats. Construction is scheduled to begin in March and last through August, with the road being completely closed throughout the project.
The meeting will include a brief presentation at 6 pm where residents and commuters will learn available details about the project, including proposed detour routes, residents’ access to their property during construction, and projected timelines. The presentation will be followed by an open house format, providing individual citizens with the opportunity to discuss the proposed project with WCRC staff and the construction contractor.
What: The Washtenaw County Road Commission will host a Public Information Meeting to inform the community about the upcoming McGregor Road bridge replacement project.
