What:
Temporary Road Closure
When:
On Monday, September 10, 2012 for approximately one week.
Where:
Tubbs Road, in Section 1 of Scio Township between Stein Road and Huron River Drive.
Why:
Crude oil pipeline maintenance.
Background:
On Monday morning, September 10, 2012, the Enbridge Energy Company will impose a TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE on Tubbs Road south of Stein Road to perform general maintenance of their pipeline. The cross-country pipeline crosses underneath Tubbs Road in section 1 of Scio Township between Stein Road and Huron River Drive. An anomaly was discovered during a routine inspection which requires a visual inspection.
This temporary road closure will remain in effect for approximately one (1) week, until the pipeline has been visually inspected and any repairs completed.
The recommended DETOUR for this temporary road closure is Huron River Drive to North Delhi Road to Joy Road to Stein Road.
