Bridge Beam Delivery
Background:
The delivery of the new precast concrete box beams for the Willis Rd Bridge, located between Hitchingham Rd and Whittaker Rd, has been scheduled for Monday, August 20, 2012. The beams will be routed from I-94 to Huron Street to Whittaker Road to Willis Road. Traffic on these streets and nearby driveways may be interrupted for short durations to allow for the delivery and installation of the bridge beams.
Please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the work zone in order to maintain the safety of the construction crews and the traveling public. The Washtenaw County Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these improvements are completed.
