Lane Closure - Geddes Road
Milling & Paving - Flag Control Operation / Lane Closure
July 25, 2012 through July 28, 2012
Geddes Road between Ridge Road and the County Line
Geddes Road Improvement Project
On Thursday July 25, 2012 a flag control operation will be imposed on Geddes Road between Ridge Road and the County Line for the milling paving of the roadway. The project consists of the construction of a center left-turn lane and right-turn lane to access the South Pointe Scholars Charter Academy, a K-8 school, currently under construction. Traffic will be restricted to one-lane under flag control operations during the day while work is occurring. Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route
Please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the work zone in order to maintain the safety of the road crews and the traveling public. This milling and paving work is scheduled to be completed by Saturday July 28, 2012. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, this date is tentative and subject to change. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these improvements are completed.
If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Matt MacDonell, Senior Project Manager - Permits & Construction, at (734) 327-6688 or macdonellm@wcroads.org.
