On Thursday, April 11th, 2013 the Washtenaw County Road Commission closed Liberty Road between Honey Run Drive and Stags Leap Lane in Scio Township due to severe flooding. On Monday morning, May 6th, 2013 the Washtenaw County Road Commission re-opened this stretch of roadway to the traveling public as the flooding had receded.
On Wednesday May 8, 2013, work is scheduled to begin at the intersection of Rawsonville Road and Martz Road for widening the road for a center left turn lane and the installation of a traffic signal.
