Starting Monday, April 28, 2014, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will perform required tree trimming activities within the road right-of-way along the local roads located in the Hidden Creek Subdivision and Warner Creek Subdivision # 4 & #5, Section 27 in Pittsfield Township. The purpose of this work is to provide a reasonably clear and safe roadway that is free of encroaching vegetation which impedes the traveling public and road right-of-way maintenance activities.
Liberty Road, located between Honey Run Drive and Stags Leap Lane, will be officially REOPENED to the traveling public on Monday, April 21, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m.
On Thursday morning, December 26, 2013 the Washtenaw County Road Commission closed Liberty Road between Honey Run Drive and Stags Leap Lane in Scio Township due to severe flooding.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission announces that the County Highway Engineer has SUSPENDED the Seasonal Weight Restrictions, effective 6:00 a.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014. This action is taken in accordance with the Washtenaw County Board of Road Commissioners’ Resolution No. RC09-052, and pursuant to Act 300 of the Public Acts of 1949, as amended [MCL §257.722].
