Road Opening - Parker Rd

On Wednesday, May 4, the Washtenaw County Road Commission re-opened Parker Rd between Scio Church Rd and Jerusalem Rd in Scio & Lima Township.

Work completed during this project included: replacing culverts, forestry, recycling in-place asphalt (pulverizing) and placing a new hot mix asphalt surface.

Road Opening - Bunton Rd

On Thursday, May 5, 2016, the Washtenaw County Road Commission re-opened Bunton Rd between Willis Rd and Judd Rd in Augusta Township. Steel plates have been installed over a failed culvert on Bunton Road, over the Swan Creek and Pliney Harris Drain. A weight restriction of 40 tons has been imposed.

Washtenaw County Board rejects resolution to place four-year road & non-motorized path millage before the voters

On Wednesday, May 4, the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners voted down a resolution to place a four-year road & non-motorized path millage on the August 2 ballot. If approved by voters, the millage would have levied 0.5 mills and raised approximately $7.2 million for road and path improvements county-wide, at an average cost of $35 per year for homeowners.

Road Closure- Scio Ridge Rd
