To provide the general public with an update on the bridge replacement project located at Dexter-Pinckney Rd over the Portage Lake Canal in Section 2 of Dexter Township
The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will hold a Public Information Meeting for the bridge replacement project located at Dexter-Pinckney Road over the Portage Lake Canal in Dexter Township. The public information meeting will be held in the Dexter Township Hall, 6880 Dexter-Pinckney Road, Dexter, Michigan on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The existing bridge on Dexter-Pinckney Road has been awarded funding for replacement through the Michigan Department of Transportation Local Bridge Program. Construction is scheduled to begin in late February / early March 2010 and conclude by September 2010.
The meeting will include a brief presentation at 6 p.m. and will be followed by an open house format, providing individual citizens with the opportunity to discuss the proposed project with WCRC staff, the WCRC design consultant, and the Contractor. It is our intent to listen and consider the suggestions or concerns citizens may have with the proposed project prior to making final design decisions.
