The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has scheduled a Public Information Meeting to review the impending reconstruction of Holmes Road between Spencer Lane and Michigan Avenue in the Charter Township of Ypsilanti. This meeting will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Central Fire Station, 222 South Ford Boulevard, Ypsilanti, Michigan.
The proposed roadway improvements include the reconstruction of 0.93 mile of road, enclosed storm sewer, sidewalk, and new water main. Construction will begin sometime in 2010.
The meeting will include a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by an open house format, providing individual citizens with the opportunity to discuss the project with WCRC staff.
