When: Monday, October 5, 2009 through Friday, October 9, 2009
Where: Rawsonville Road approx. one-half mile south of Bemis Road in Augusta Township
Why: Railroad Crossing Repair
Background
Commencing at approximately 8 AM Monday, October 5, 2009, the Norfolk Southern Railroad will impose a total Road CLOSURE on Rawsonvile Road west of Whittaker Road to perform railroad crossing repair. It is anticipated that the crossing work will be completed by 5 PM Friday, October 9, 2009. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
All Rawsonville Road through traffic will be directed to the posted DETOUR route which utilizes Willis, Sumpter, and Bemis Roads.
The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
