When: Monday, August 31, 2009 thru Friday, September 4, 2009
Where: Whittaker Road approx. 900-feet North of Talladay Road in Augusta Township
Why: Railroad Crossing Repair
Background
Commencing at approximately 8 AM Monday, August 31, 2009, the Norfolk Southern Railroad will impose a total Road CLOSURE on Whittaker Road north of Talladay Road to perform railroad crossing repair. It is anticipated that the crossing work will be completed by 5 PM Friday, September 4, 2009. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
All Whittaker Road through traffic will be directed to the posted DETOUR route which utilizes Willow, Rawsonville and Willis Roads.
The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
