What: Installation of Traffic Calming Devices

Why: Neighborhood Traffic Management Program
Background
Beginning on November 2, 2009, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will begin working on Wendell Avenue to install traffic calming devices.
The road will remain open with partial lane closures throughout the duration of the project. It is anticipated that this project will be completed by November 6, 2009. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
To maintain the safety of road crews, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
