What: ROAD CLOSURE
When: Monday, August 31, 2009 through Friday, September 4, 2009
Where: Talladay Road approx. 1,200-feet west of Whittaker Road in Augusta Township
Why: Railroad Crossing Repair & Installation of Warning Signal
Background
Commencing at approximately 8 AM Monday, August 31, 2009, the Norfolk Southern Railroad will impose a total ROAD CLOSURE on Talladay Road west of Whittaker to perform railroad crossing repair and install railroad crossing warning signals. It is anticipated that the crossing work will be completed by 5 PM Friday, September 4, 2009. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
All Talladay Road through traffic will be directed to the posted DETOUR route which utilizes Willow, Hitchingham, and Judd Roads.
The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
