Background
Beginning on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES on State Road, Campus Parkway, Moon Road and Michigan Avenue (US-12) in Pittsfield Township to construct road improvements on these road segments as part of the first phase of construction. A map of the construction area and the phasing plan has been posted for your use.
Through traffic shall be maintained with temporary lane closures and flag control. Delays should be expected during construction and motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes. Residents and businesses will be contacted regarding activities that may temporarily limit driveway access.
It is anticipated that this phase of the project will be completed by Saturday, May 16, 2009. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
To maintain the safety of road crews, please
reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work
zones. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for
your patience as these necessary improvements to the
county road system are completed.
